though aleixandre biedermann and me were active members in some sl forums and also not very young sl residents, we didnt meet till 2009. then he asked for taking some snapshots of my avie for his collection of sl women portraits. of course, i accepted inmediately. i enjoyed it a lot, because he was open for listening and in those days i needed it (yes, i was always talking and talking and talking... sorry aleix, i was a pain in your neck).
about the snapshots session, he told me i could wear the clothes i wanted, and also pose in the way i liked. he was quite fast, so it was no boring at all.
for inspiration he asked for a sentence and a youtube link.
the rest of the picture (the biggest part, of course), is his work. his control of the image, his imagination, his interpretation of the persons soul...
and i have to admit he is an artist!!!
of course, he made a great work with my pictures, and i have to thank him all the time he spent listening to me, taking snapshots and after all, working with the images, in order to finally get the result you can check below.
currently there is an exhibition of some of these women portraits made by aleix, till aproximately 20th june, 2010, in this lm: Women - The exhibition.

aunque aleixandre biedermann y yo éramos miembros activos en algunos foros sobre sl además de viejos residentes de sl, no nos conocimos hasta el 2009. entonces él me pidió que le dejase tomar unas fotos de mi avatar para su colección de retratos de mujeres de sl. por supuesto, acepté inmediatamente. lo disfruté mucho, porque él estaba dispuesto a escuchar y en esos momentos yo lo necesitaba (sí, no paraba de hablar, y hablar, y hablar... lo siento aleix, fui una pesadilla!).
en cuanto a la sesión de fotos, me dijo que podía llevar la ropa que quisiera, y utilizar la pose que me gustara. fue bastante rápido, así que no me resultó en absoluto aburrido.
para inspirarse, me pidió una frase y un link a un vídeo de youtube.
el resto del retrato (la mayor, parte, por supuesto), es su trabajo. su control de la imagen, su imaginación, su interpretación del alma de la persona...
y tengo que reconocer que es un artista!!!
desde luego, conmigo hizo un trabajo espléndido y le agradezco mucho todo el tiempo que pasó escuchándome, tomando fotos y tratando después las imágenes, para llegar al resultado que podéis ver más abajo.
actualmente hay una exhibición de varios de estos retratos de mujeres realizados por aleix, que estará hasta aproximadamente el 20 de junio de 2010, en el siguiente lm: Women - The exhibition.

i chose that sentece from the song "fix you" by coldplay because it expressed some of the feelings i had in those days. and it is the music played in the youtube video i chose, too.
and i chose that wall-e video because i like that film, its one of my favourite ones. a big part of it is about love... absolute and unconditional love. it is about "i will go with you whenever you go, whatever happens... and i will love you whatever you are, whatever you do. i will be with you to support in your fears, in your failures, your bad humour, and will also be in your happyness, in your goals, in your smile... and forever joined. and forever holding your hand. and, if you want it will never change". and yes, i have to admit that it makes me cry.

elegí esa frase de la canción "fix you", de coldplay, porque expresaba algunos de los sentimientos que experimenté durante aquéllos días. además es la música que aperece en el vídeo de youtube que elegí.
y elegí el vídeo de wall-e porque me gusta esa película, es una de mis favoritas. una gran parte de ella es sobre amor... es la historia del amor incondicional, del "allá donde tú vayas iré yo tras ti pase lo que pase. y te querré seas como seas, hagas lo que hagas, con tus miedos, tus fracasos, tus triunfos, tu mal genio y tu risa contagiosa. y siempre estaremos juntos. iremos de la mano y si tú quieres, nada podrá separarnos". y sí, he de admitir que me hace llorar.
